Good to know

Is MileMind free?+
Yes — MileMind has a free tier. A paid subscription adds extra features, and any pricing is always shown clearly in the app before you subscribe. All payments are handled by Apple through your App Store account; we never see your card details.
Does it work for leased cars?+
Absolutely — it's one of the reasons MileMind exists. Add your mileage allowance, term and excess rate, and it tracks your pace, projected total and likely excess cost so a hand-back bill never blindsides you.
Can I use it for HMRC business mileage?+
Yes. Tag journeys as business or personal and MileMind applies HMRC's 45p and 25p per-mile rates, then exports a tidy tax-year PDF for self-assessment or your accountant. Figures are indicative and provided for convenience — they're not tax advice, so do check anything you submit.
Does MileMind support electric cars?+
Yes. Record charging sessions with a home-versus-public split, alongside or instead of fuel fill-ups, and see your real running cost whether you drive petrol, diesel, hybrid or EV.
Is my data private?+
Your data is only ever used to show you your own numbers. It's stored on a private EU server over an encrypted connection, never sold, and there are no advertising SDKs in the app. You can request a copy or full deletion of your data at any time under UK GDPR.
Do I need to create an account?+
You sign in with Apple, which creates your account securely without a separate password. If you use Apple's Hide My Email, we only ever see a private relay address.
